About Me
MY NAME IS Abel Galvan
My passion for landscape started at the age of 14. My father bought me a old tractor mower and we fabricated a small trailer to attach to the rear. He purchased a used 21” walk behind mower, weed trimmer and a blower and I went to work mowing lawns for the summer. This wasn’t a free ride provided by my dad, I was expected to payback his initial investment. I was able to do that by the middle of the summer. That started my drive and ambition to start my own company. After mowing lawns every summer until I graduated high school I went to work of a handful of small and national landscape companies. Working my way from the bottom I managed to earn the privilege of running a successful landscape company as there maintenance manger. I started Higher Ground Irrigation & Lawn care with my wife and 2 boys in 2019 in the continued pursuit of my passion for landscape and landscape maintenance. We will work hard to transfer that passion to your project.
